CleanOps started as an internal tool at Northstar Clean — a 200-person commercial janitorial company in the Midwest. We were running operations on Connecteam, time on ADP, SDS in a 4-inch binder, client reports in Excel, and a custom Access database from 2008. Every week something fell through the cracks.

Three years later, our internal tool had replaced every other system. Supervisors got their nights back. Compliance audits became a one-click export. Clients renewed at 94%. We knew we had something the rest of the industry needed.
In 2023, we spun CleanOps out as a standalone product. Today, 1,200+ commercial janitorial companies across North America run their business on CleanOps — from two-person startups to 5,000-cleaner enterprise operations.
